Others are sharing their thoughts, and I've got a headache

how did I get added to this network?

The promise of better deals set the trap, but better meals

were not forthcoming, instead I was buried

under a constant stream of updates to the terms of service 

Picks for me are turning into pricks, any “it” I may miss

is still there, pretending not to be exhausting,

the only escape from temptations to follow are headlines,

until they become mandatory to witness,

and present no coalition to rub up against, only petitions

Then and now, I resist, holding out to recruit a candidate

who will pivot the scene in new directions,

and if at all possible, toss my feeds into the heart of the sun, 

leaving everyone free in a forum, to roundup

and curate what we want, or to throttle until updates stop
