Perfect Fit

Perfect Fit

By Tom Squitieri

The leather jacket lights a fire like no

other heat

Makes me yearn for more

Opening me, as I hug the leather

And feel it meld into my skin

Black leather, with holes from the war

Faded yellow softness inside

Wishing you would wear it

To make it fully alive again

Then to watch your  eyes whisper promises

As you hug it and it hugs you

Promises that my skin calls for

My eyes look for

My mouth purses in hope

My fingers wait impatiently

I will unzip now

If you say yes

put it on you

It all fits you perfectly
