Lost Voice

LOST VOICE

By Adwitaa Singh

In the midst of the crowds

Between the heavy noise

There’s a lost voice

In the havoc of doubt.

Wrenched by each plummeting voice

With a heart so annoyed

A restless soul wanders

With a lost voice that ponders.

Hearing every voice around

Drowned by the words

That sounds so right

The lost voice frowns

For the light it hasn’t found.

Preyed by the heard voices

Silence engulfs once again

Yet the lost voice

Tries to find its first ray of light, again.
