Your Choice

Your Choice

By Antea Gërxhani

Go out, have fun,

it’s your choice,

as long as you throw away “society’s thoughts’’,

remember, you decide.

Wear that dress,

put on a smile,

make sure you can control the stares that speak out loud,

but it’s in your power.

Make a run,

call them out,

unless their words are just a bit more valuable,

don’t worry, it’s your call.

Breathe, but not too loud,

just don’t die, or do,

this one is all in your desire,

you have free will, don’t mind it.
