and i know he doesn't understand, that tangles can tangle together into something that is

valued,

nothing profound i suppose, except maybe-

as we leave the country roads, the world gets brighter,

here, there are orbs of gold that light the way,

here, there is the potential, the possibility, more than you can be when all you can see is dirt.

and not pilgrims, no, not quite

but definitely stumbling towards the light,

salvation as far away from home as we can reach.
