My Moment’s Heaven

My Moment’s Heaven

By Aayushi Roy

The heavens come down when you need them to

The sun softens to little blight

And clouds shelter you a little tight

The wind carries a little light touch

Your frowning eyes cracked with a smile

The magic unfolds in front of our very own lies

The sad day takes beautiful unexpected turns

And you go from being upset to being curious

It turns silly, the reason behind our tears

And all that matters is a smile bestowing your very eyes.

It might not have been easy

But you're here now

So close those eyes and feel the vibration around you

The energy of the air

The chills of the clouds

The drops of the morning skies

And the happiness you feel inside

Let the seconds pass on

Let your handle on time go

Now you here somewhere in your very own heaven

So close your eyes and count to seven—

Seven things you're grateful for

Seven things that make you smile

Seven times when you felt utterly joyed

Seven times when you had your very own heaven.
