Love

Love

Please tell Buddhist, three-year-old me, that 

Today she believes in the deity of Love and 

Knows that she is human 

Today she believes that Earth is a 

Mother and knows she is human too 

Tell her that the world began when Mother 

Earth adopted Love and the two became inseparable 

They made Love as abundant as the 

Sand and the leaves and as 

Beautiful as the 

Mountains and the trees

Make sure she knows that 

Love is embedded in the air that we breathe and the water that we drink 

Make sure she knows that 

Love is always wanting to be found
