FORGET AND BE FORGOTTEN
Forget And Be Forgotten
By Hyacinthe
I weep like the willows
My heart bleeds slowly
The poison of your attempt to love
Killing me meticulously
Tainted blood drips into my hands
Thorns adorn my skin
I plead with the gods for rest
For my body to be laid with the flowers
And thus forgotten amidst
My soul to become lost in the wind
I want my mind scattered through a field
To forget
And be forgotten.
