Skylar Brown

My name is Skylar, and I am a high school student from Northern New Jersey. I am incredibly passionate (in case you couldn’t tell) about philosophy and the humanities. Beyond that, I love to write, read, research independently, photograph, study languages, and do just about anything and everything you can think of. One of my biggest joys comes from learning, be it about people, or places, or all those aphotic cracks of darkness in between. Philosophy, to me, is a safe space to think and a fortress for creativity. Without it, humanity would be nowhere near where it is now. Thus, I believe it is vital that we keep in in tact. Though I know this magazine isn’t much, it’s a step in the right direction, and goodness knows we’re gonna need plenty of those to as the years go on.
