The rules are made to be broken, just as art is built to destroy tradition.
What Is Bardics Anonymous
Bardics Anonymous is a teen & student led online magazine and visual arts site seeking to spread the names of new-coming artists, focused on a theme of exploring the unknown. With the 21st century’s decline of reliance on the liberal arts and humanities, we find that it is imperative to continue to keep the tradition alive, as these ideas are vital in such a restless world. Humanities allow individuals to foster an appreciation for others, an understanding of justice and differences, and recognize the beauty in everything.
Above all else, though, Bardics Anonymous seeks to advocate for those who are underrepresented in life and the media. To understand humanity, we must understand every aspect of it—every gender, every ethnicity, every sexuality, every form of expression. We want inextricable experiences and bloody truths, cuts and wounds included.
This magazine thrives off reader participation and is open to all ways of expression.
Bardics Anonymous is a triannual magazine. We release 3 issues a year, meaning our submissions are usually open for 3-month spans for each issue.

Bardics Anonymous’ Dos and donts
DO:
☆ be intellectually curious
☆ explore themes of the unknown
☆ draw inspiration from the greats! There are thousands of brilliant individuals throughout history that you can look up to, be it Socrates, Kant, Aesop, and so forth. Use their work as a starting point or reference if you ever feel lost
☆ reach out to a team member if you’re feeling stuck. We’ve all been there, and we’re all willing to help to the best of our abilities
☆ spread the word of Bardics Anonymous so we can grow our community!
Dont:
☆ plagiarize (duh)
☆ write or create because you feel forced to
☆ put other people down for having different ways of expressing themselves
☆ judge a book by its cover (unless it’s a truly hideous cover)
☆ let class status or education weigh in on your perception of “good” art. Surely writing can be “bettered” with teaching and time, but not everyone leads the same life as you. Judge a work by its verity and message, not its sophistication
